I have only used this once because it just arrived I have a GSD and An Aussie did great on both dogs not too loud and I was shocked how well the trimmer worked. Only complaint would be each of the tools need to lock into the hose they don't feel secure when brushing could use a linger cord. Very easy to use and the price was rite
