This charger works as expected and performs well. I appreciate the added security feature that requires either the app or an RFID card to start charging, ensuring that no one else can use it. It looks great mounted on the wall and integrates seamlessly with the Smart Life app, which I already use for my garage doors and lights. I'm getting the full 32 amps on a dedicated 50 amp plug that was originally installed for an RV. I'm not sure how it will withstand the Texas heat and rain over time, but so far, I'm very satisfied with the value for the price. Tesla owners, note that you’ll need a Tesla adapter.
The charger exceeded my expectations even though it’s connected to a plug instead of being directly hardwired with a 50 amp breaker. The app is user-friendly and provides all the necessary information. One concern I had when ordering was the length of the charging cord, which is approximately 16 ft. The unit comes with quality installation hardware and a docking station for the charging head. It’s ready to use right out of the box and works great with my Ford Lightning. I'll update this review if anything changes."
